circa 1855, with London proved 3 1/2in. side by side barrels, the moulded top-rib signed 'DEANE ADAMS & DEANE, LONDON', bead fore-sight, moulded shallow fences, scroll engraved squared boxlock action with radiused edges and traces of colour hardening, colour hardened side-hammers, finely chequered walnut grip, shallow domed colour hardened grip-cap with central trap, guarded double triggers, captive iron ramrod and blued spring-steel belt-hook, strong amount of finish remaining
